Hotpack Commissions 2.2 MW Rooftop Solar Project to Advance Sustainability Goals

Dubai, UAE: In a major step toward its carbon neutrality vision, Hotpack has successfully completed a 2.2 MW rooftop solar energy project at its facility in National Industries Park (NIP), Dubai. The installation is expected to generate 3.52 million kWh of clean energy annually, reducing approximately 2,992 metric tons of CO₂ emissions each year.

The project forms a key part of Hotpack’s sustainability strategy, reinforcing the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship and aligning with the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 initiative. By integrating renewable energy sources into its operations, Hotpack is significantly reducing its environmental impact while improving long-term energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

“This solar initiative marks a major milestone in our journey to becoming a carbon-neutral packaging company,” the company stated. “It reflects our ongoing investment in sustainable innovation and our commitment to building a greener future for the packaging industry.”

Executed in collaboration with Clenergize Consultants and Al Baraka Energy, the project not only supports energy independence but also strengthens Hotpack’s leadership in sustainable manufacturing within the region.
